Loto-Québec is legally authorized to conduct, administer and operate games of chance in accordance with the Act respecting the Société des loteries du Québec (RLRQ, c. S-13.1). The online gaming offering was authorized by decision of the Québec Government on 26 January 2010.
All gaming activities are carried out in accordance with the laws of Québec and under the supervision of the competent public authorities.
Games are reserved for persons 18 years of age and over. Please play responsibly.
1. Acceptance of these Conditions
This website, its mobile applications and its related pages and social media accounts (together, the "site") are operated under the authority of Loto-Québec ("espacejuex", "we", "us", "our"). These Conditions of Use govern your access to and use of the site. By accessing or using the site, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Conditions, as well as by any specific conditions and game rules that apply to a particular product or promotion. If you do not agree, you must stop using the site. We may amend these Conditions at any time; the version published on the site is the one in effect, and your continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Conditions.
2. Accuracy of information
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that the information published on the site is accurate and current. However, we do not warrant that the content is complete, accurate, reliable or free of errors or omissions, and the information is provided for information purposes only. We may correct, change, add or remove any content, feature, product or price at any time and without prior notice. In particular, results, jackpots, odds, schedules and product availability shown on the site are provided for convenience and may differ from our records; where there is any discrepancy, our official records prevail.
3. Prices, schedules and availability
Ticket prices, participation fees, draw schedules, estimated jackpots, prize structures, odds of winning and the availability of products and services shown on the site are subject to change without notice. They are provided for information only and do not constitute an offer or a guarantee. The conditions, prices and rules in effect at the time you place a transaction are those that apply, and we recommend that you verify them before playing. Certain products may be temporarily or permanently unavailable, modified or discontinued at our discretion.
4. Legal age and location
Access to our games is reserved for adults. You must be of legal gambling age in your province — 18 years of age in Quebec — and be physically located within the province to register, deposit or play. By using the site you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements. We may, at any time, require proof of your age, identity and location, use geolocation services, and refuse, suspend or close any account that does not meet, or that we reasonably believe does not meet, these requirements. It is an offence to play, or to attempt to play, if you are under the legal age.
5. Lottery and game results
The results, winning numbers, draws and prize information displayed on the site are unofficial and are published for convenience only. They may be subject to verification, correction and delay. The official results are those recorded and validated in our central gaming system. In the event of any discrepancy between the information shown on the site, printed from a screen, or communicated verbally, and the information stored in our central gaming system, the recorded information prevails and determines any prize. Prizes must be claimed in accordance with the applicable game rules and within the prescribed time limits.
6. Regulation and game rules
Gaming activities are conducted under the authority of Loto-Québec in accordance with the Act respecting the Société des loteries du Québec (RLRQ, c. S-13.1) and the applicable laws of Québec. Each game is governed by its own rules and, where applicable, by the regulations respecting games and the regulations respecting sales-promotion contests, which form an integral part of these Conditions. The rules of each game, including how it is played, the odds and the prize structure, are made available on the relevant game page or on request from customer service. By participating, you accept the rules applicable to that game.
7. Account registration and security
To play, you must open a single personal account using accurate, complete and up-to-date information, and keep that information current. Each person may hold only one account; accounts are strictly personal and may not be transferred, sold, shared or used by anyone other than the registered holder. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity carried out through your account, and you must notify us without delay of any loss, theft or suspected unauthorized use. We may require you to verify your identity, age, address and source of funds (Know Your Customer / KYC) at any time, and may suspend, restrict or close an account, or withhold a transaction or prize, where verification fails, where information is inaccurate, or where we reasonably suspect a breach of these Conditions or of applicable law. You may close your account at any time by contacting customer service, subject to the completion of pending transactions and verification requirements.
8. Payments, deposits and withdrawals
Deposits and withdrawals may be made only through the payment methods made available on the site and from instruments registered in your own name. Deposits are generally credited to your account once authorized by the payment provider. Withdrawals are processed to an eligible payment method in your name and may be subject to identity and source-of-funds verification, security checks and the resolution of any pending wagers before they are released. We may set minimum and maximum transaction amounts, refuse or reverse a transaction, and apply any limit required by law or by our responsible-gaming framework. A transaction that is cancelled, declined, charged back or made in error may be corrected, and we may recover any amount credited to your account as a result of an error, technical malfunction or fraudulent activity. You are responsible for any fees charged by your own payment provider.
9. Promotional offers and bonuses
From time to time we may make promotions, bonuses or other offers available. Each offer is optional and is subject to its own specific terms, which may set out eligibility, duration, wagering or playthrough requirements, maximum amounts and other conditions; where a specific term conflicts with these Conditions, the specific term prevails for that offer. We may add, change, suspend, cancel or withdraw any offer at any time. Offers are intended for genuine recreational play: any abuse — including holding multiple accounts, collusion, the use of automated tools, or any attempt to exploit an offer contrary to its intent — may result in the cancellation of the offer and any related winnings and in the suspension or closure of the account.
10. Fraud, abuse and prohibited use
You agree to use the site lawfully, honestly and for your own personal, recreational use. You must not use bots, scripts, automated systems, artificial-intelligence agents or any other software to access, interact with or play on the site; attempt to gain unauthorized access to the site, other accounts or our systems; interfere with the proper operation or security of the site; collude with other players or engage in fraud, money laundering or any prohibited transaction; or open or use more than one account or an account in another person's name. We monitor activity to detect and prevent fraud and abuse and may investigate, suspend or close any account, void affected transactions and winnings, and report suspected illegal activity to the competent authorities. We may recover from you any loss or amount resulting from prohibited use.
11. Limitation of liability
The site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied. To the extent permitted by law, Loto-Québec, its directors, officers, employees and suppliers shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from the use of, or the inability to use, the site, including service interruptions, technical failures, errors, delays, loss of data, inaccurate content, the transmission of viruses or other harmful code, or any unauthorized access to your information. You use the site at your own risk and are responsible for taking appropriate measures to protect your devices and data. Nothing in these Conditions limits any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
12. Force majeure
We are not liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations that results from events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, fire, flood, epidemic or pandemic, war, civil unrest, labour disputes, acts of government or regulators, failures or interruptions of telecommunications, internet, power or third-party services, cyberattacks, or any other event of force majeure. Where such an event occurs, we may suspend, interrupt or restrict access to the site or to a game for as long as the event continues, and we will take reasonable steps to limit its impact and to restore service.
13. Intellectual property
All elements of the site — including trademarks, trade names, logos, designs, text, graphics, images, photographs, audio and video, software, source code and their selection and arrangement — are the property of Loto-Québec or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual-property laws. You are granted a limited, personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use the site for lawful, non-commercial purposes. You may not reproduce, represent, distribute, modify, translate, adapt, publish, license, sell or otherwise exploit any part of the site without our prior written consent. Any unauthorized use terminates the permission granted and may give rise to civil and criminal liability.
14. Domain names
The domain names used by Loto-Québec belong exclusively to us. You may not, without our prior written consent, register, use or attempt to register a domain name, trademark, keyword, sign or any other distinctive element that is identical or confusingly similar to ours, nor use them in a way that suggests an affiliation, sponsorship or endorsement that does not exist.
15. Links to other sites
The site may contain links to third-party websites or resources that are provided solely for your convenience. We do not control these sites and are not responsible for their content, products, services, privacy practices, security or availability. The presence of a link does not imply any endorsement, approval or affiliation on our part. Accessing a linked site is done at your own risk, and we encourage you to review the terms and privacy policy of any third-party site you visit.
16. Links to our site
You may create a link to our home page provided that the link is not misleading, does not damage our reputation, does not suggest any false affiliation or endorsement, and does not frame, reproduce or alter the content or appearance of our site. We reserve the right to withdraw permission for any link at any time and without notice, and to require the removal of any link that does not comply with these Conditions.
17. Language
This site and these Conditions are offered in French and in English. The French version prevails and is binding in the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between the two language versions. The parties have expressly requested that these Conditions and all related documents be drawn up in French / Les parties ont expressément demandé que les présentes Conditions et tous les documents qui s'y rapportent soient rédigés en français.
18. Specific conditions prevail
Certain products, services, promotions and pages are subject to specific conditions that supplement these general Conditions of Use. Where a specific condition conflicts with a provision of these general Conditions, the specific condition prevails for the product, service or promotion concerned. You are responsible for reviewing any specific conditions and game rules that apply before participating.
19. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Conditions, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with the site, are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Quebec and the laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. You agree that any dispute relating to the site shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Province of Quebec, judicial district of Montreal.
20. Changes to these Conditions
We may modify these Conditions at any time to reflect changes to our products, services, technology or legal obligations. The revised version takes effect as soon as it is published on the site, and the "last updated" date indicates when it was last changed. It is your responsibility to review these Conditions periodically. By continuing to use the site after a modification, you accept the revised Conditions; if you do not agree, you must stop using the site.
21. Related policies
These Conditions should be read together with our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy and Responsible Gaming Policy, which form part of your agreement with us and govern, respectively, how we handle your personal information, how we use cookies and similar technologies, and the tools and commitments that support responsible play.
