Regulations

1. Regulatory oversight
Online gaming offered on espacejuex is conducted under the regulatory framework that applies to gambling in Quebec. Lottery schemes and the conduct and management of online gaming are subject to oversight by the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux (RACJ), the provincial body responsible for regulating gaming activities, and are operated in cooperation with Loto-Québec, the Crown corporation mandated to manage games of chance in the province. These arrangements exist to keep games fair, to protect players and minors, and to ensure that proceeds are managed in the public interest.
2. Licensing and approvals
Games are made available only after the required approvals are in place. Each game's rules, prize structure and odds are documented, and material changes are reviewed before they take effect. We keep records that allow regulators to verify how games are conducted, how draws and instant results are generated, and how prizes are determined and paid.
3. Game fairness and random number generation
Outcomes of draws and instant games are produced by random number generation that is tested by independent laboratories. Testing confirms that results are unpredictable and that the published odds and return rates reflect how the games actually behave. Certified game logic is used in production, and we monitor for any deviation from approved behaviour.
4. Player protection and integrity
We apply identity and age verification, controls against money laundering and fraud, and tools that help players keep gambling within their means. Player funds are handled separately from operating funds, and access controls, logging and security testing protect accounts and transactions. Responsible-gambling measures — limits, breaks and self-exclusion — are part of the regulatory framework, not optional extras.
5. Age and location restrictions
You must be 18 years of age or older to open an account and to play. Play is intended for individuals physically located where it is lawful, and we may use verification measures to confirm eligibility. Accounts may not be opened or used on behalf of another person, and individuals who have self-excluded may not play during the period of their exclusion.
6. Complaints and dispute resolution
If you have a concern about a game, a transaction or a decision affecting your account, please contact us first so we can investigate and respond. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may raise the matter with the relevant regulatory authority. We keep records of complaints and their resolution as part of our obligations.
